Collector's edition, bound in rich brown genuine leather with raised bands, and gold-stamped titles and figures of a batter and catcher on spine. Front board decorations and title also in gold with pictorial endpapers showing baseball park with horse-and-buggy in foreground. Gilt edges, section of black-and-white photographs, and sewn-in satin bookmark.Printed on archival paper especially milled for this edition. Very fine, with unmarked gilt, and no bumps, edge wear, or scuffing. Very scarce title in this condition, as issued, without dust jacket. [BUND]
