About This Item

Savannah Georgia: The Pigeonhole Press, 1959. First Edition. . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. VG+/VG/1st ed. This small slim volume about the steamship Savannah and the Savannah Boat Company of Georgia was published by the Pigeonhole Press in celebration of the launching of the nuclear submarine, the Savannah. The result is an enjoyable tale of many historical folks whose names are very well known throughout the state of Georgia. It is a short and quite enjoyable read. Book is Very Good+ and Jacket condition is Very Good; clean and tightly bound, with a little rubbing on the heel of the boards(no wear through). Short gift inscription on front free end paper. No other markings, no foxing. Dust Jacket has one small chip on front panel, and a couple of small closed tears. Jacket has tanned evenly, and has a couple of spots of soiling. More than just presentable. BASA
