New York: Stringer & Townsend, 1856. Green cloth. Gilt lettering on spine. Previous owner stamp on title paper. Foxing. Binding good. Some soiling & fraying to boards. Two volumes bound in one. This is an early edition, originally published by Burgress, Stringer & Co. then reimpressions done by Stringer & Townsend in 1852, 1855, & 1856; this copy is the later. The 'new edition'. The first edition was unedited by Cooper by resulted in over 200 errors this edition is the first edition was Cooper himself revised. Very Good condition!. New Edition. Original Cloth. Very Good/No Dustjacket. 6 x 8".
