About This Item
Colombo: The Author, 2007. First edition. Paperback. Good. Although Sri Lanka's Muslim\s do not get much publicity outside Sri Lanka, they form the third largest 'ethnic' group in the country, although the group is an ethnic mix in itself. Moors, Memons, Malays and other make up significant sub groups within this community. In what is probably a first, the author delves deep into the various parts of the community to discover their origins, language, distribution, customs, occupations and much else besides. Good Paperback. 490 pages with some colour and black and white plates. Weight: 0.8 kg Post free within Malaysia The book has suffered some water damage which has resulted in several pages having a mild ripple effect, mainly along part of the top margin. The cover has two or three bits of surface loss on the front. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is no tanning of the pages.
