About This Item
London: Ward, Lock, 1900. First edition. . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Bright, beautiful gilt-decorated cover is nearly fine. However, several pages roughly opened with ragged edges, particularly at top edge of title page, not affecting text. Also, the frontis illustration is a little shorter than the other glossy plates, so frontis likely areplacement plate from a later printing.
