Sancho is playing the part of the King attended by his Doctor and an array of characters include a priest, the village fool, a black servant, a buxom maid, ladies in waiting and being served by young waiters. Musicians are playing stringed instruments in the background. The print is cleverly engraved as to show a performance witnessed by both the participants in the act as well as the viewers of the print. Copper engraving. Uncoloured. Good condition. Wide margins. Size: 33 x 30 cm. (13 x 12 inches)
