Philadelphia: Sam. S. Shubert Theatre, 1921. Very Good. 1 playbill (20 x 7.5 cm.). Printed on both sides. Book and lyrics by Otto Harbach, Oscar Hammerstein II, and Frank Mandel; music by Herbert Stothart; staged by William Collier. Tickle Me had run on Broadway from Aug. 17, 1920, to Feb. 12, 1921, and opened in Philadelphia on Feb. 21. It has been described as a mélange of girls, jazz, novelties, and Frank Tinney -- a musical tale about a Hollywood studio property man (comedian Frank Tinney) sent to Tibet for a movie shoot and the ensuing love story, featuring Louise Allen. Very scarce. In Very Good Condition: browning; lightly creased; minor loss at upper corner, otherwise, clean and solid.
