The Almost Incredible Autobiography of Capt. Ezra Triplett's Seafaring Daughter. a spoof of the 1929 autobiography Cradle of the Deep of silent film actress Joan Lowell, in which she recounts a childhood spent adventuring on the South Seas as the daughter of a sea captain, harpooning whales, surviving shipwreck, and much more. It was almost immediately proven to be false, and humorist and screenwriter Corey Ford published this parody months later.
