Classic work on salt-water angling by one of the great fisherman of the pre-war period, in the deluxe edition, inscribed to one of the two sportsmen whom Heilner credits in the first line of the acknowledgments: "To Michael Lerner and Ned Schafer for scenes of tuna fishing off Nova Scotia ..." Schafer's phtoographs appear at pages 272 to 280.
