London: Seeley, Service & Co. Ltd., 1929. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This book is enscribed/signed by the Author to the author Henry Williamson, and also has a note attached to the front free end paper from Eric Taverner to Henry Williamson, the Author of "Tarka the Otter". Beige cloth covered boards with faded gilt titles on the spine and a little gilt emblem on the front. Some discoloration but remaining neat and robust. Hinge and text block tight and square. Closed page edges browned and a little spotted but internally pages are smooth and clean, abundantly illustrated with black and white photographs and further drawings and diagrams within the text. It has a beautiful frontispiece coloured plate of fishing flies with captioned tissue-guard. A very good tidy copy with interesting provenance. May incur additional postage charges overseas.
