This is a splendid 1972 reprint of 1930 original which was published to celebrate the septcentenary of the city. 296 pages. The subtitle is "The Fons et Origo of an Industrial City" and it covers the history of Salford from 1230 A.D. onwards. Some good black and white illustrations. Slight browing of edges of end papers. In original purple buckram gilt hardback binding. Very Good+ in Very Good+ pictorial dust wrapper which has faded somewhat. The dust wrapper is protected by removal transparent film.
