Tan decorative cloth binding with the decorations in dark brown/maroon and the titling in gilt. Clean text; xvi, 360 pages, with two pages in the front with ads for "Representative French Fiction." Introduction by the translator, J.S. Chartres; includes Flaubert's Appendix. This is an ASSOCIATION COPY. Embossed on the Title Page with chops from the private library of Joseph A. Sadony (1877-1960), a Spiritualist whose most famous work id "Gates of the Mind." Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Third Edition.. Decorative Cloth. Very Good Plus/No Jacket.
