Yokohama: Author Published, 1910. First Edition . Hardcover. Two volumes, very good in very good original dust jackets and good slipcase. Green cloth with gilt lettering on front board and spine. Nicely preserved because of the jackets. Page edges and some internal pages are a little spotted, and a few pages are darkened. Some fairly minor chipping to the jackets at the edges; the slipcase is heavily taped at seams, but still intact. Includes color frontispieces, numerous illustrations, errata slip and glossary at the end of volume one (391 pages), and an errata slip and foldout map at the end of volume two (453 pages). Classic Japanese literature.
