London : T. Werner Laurie Ltd., 8 Essex Street, 1916 .. First edition. A very good original binding. Folio.13.75" x 9.0" x 1.25". pp.13/pp.235/[3pp. - 2 pages of adverts] . Grey papered boards, rubbed and bumped. Spine in cream cloth with dulled gilt titles. Top & tail a little rubbed. Deckled (rough-cut) page edges. Library bookplate to the verso of the front board: "Priory Of Our Lady Of Good Counsel, Hayward's Heath." Ink inscription to front free-endpaper: "Gift of Mrs. Baldwin 1916." First couple of leaves and the last couple of leaves with light foxing , otherwise clean text and coloured illustrations throughout. All plates with toned tissue guards. A very good copy of this excellent reference.
