253 pages. Small octavo (7 1/2" x 5") issued in blue cloth with black lettering to spine and front cover. First British edition.

Leslie Charteris, born Leslie Charles Bowyer-Yin, was a half-Chinese, half English author of primarily mystery fiction, as well as a screenwriter. He was best known for his many books chronicling the adventures of Simon Templar, alias "The Saint."

Condition:

Previous owner's gift inscription on front paste down, corners bumped. Jacket chipped at spine ends, some edge wear with slight tears else about very good in a very good jacket.
