Blue cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, no dust jacket. Condition good, edgewear, a few minor marks to covers, spine and cover edges sunned, pages a little toned otherwise clean. Inscribed by L. Steni to Betty Barrett ( E. Warington-Smyth ) on the front end-paper; "To the beginning of a very delightful friendship L Steni 6/2/40" From the collection of Jonathan Gili (1943-2004), film-maker, director and collector of many things including books.
