A complete and useful guide to equestrian, with notes on selecting a horse, saddling and bridling, setting the horse in motion and much more. Written by Captain F. C. Hitchcock, with a foreword by Sir Frederick Hobday. With its scarce dust wrapper, unclipped. Featuring a photographic frontispiece and numerous illustrations in text by the author. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with some shelf wear, light bumping to head and tail of spine, damp mark to front board. Dust wrapper unclipped and smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, spine sunned. Previous owner's gift inscription to front free endpaper dated 1933. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to fore edge affecting only occasional leaf, pages otherwise bright and clean. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
