Inscribed by the author on the FFFP. Book Condition: Very Good; slight shelfwear; slight soiling to textblock edges; bend edges on pages 135-144 from an adjacent book board strike against the fore edge textblock. DJ: Good +; NOT Price Clipped ($6.50) with strike through for a new price of $5.00; suntoning to spine, top edge, and flap folds; wear to head, tail, and tips; water glass mark on front panel. Red buckram boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. 191 pp 8vo. This is the story of the Rush Family who moved to Kansas from Kentucky in the 1870s and is told by one of the sons, Daniel or Danny, and follows his life, family events and happenings through different locations in Kansas up to his settling down with the author in Winfield Kansas. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
