Lower right corner has been bent, with other handling marks and light soiling to the paper covers. Otherwise, the binding is tight and solid, with a clean interior free of markings. Text in English. Well illustrated, with sections organized by material (ceramic, stone, metals, wood, textiles, featherwork, shell) with notes and bibliography. Published in conjunction with the exhibition held in Santa Barbara from November 5, 1994-March 12, 1995; and subsequently in San Francisco from June 28-November 26, 1995..
