A fetching inscription at title page, to a future reader, the gift-givers marveling at the growing name of Sacajawea. Taped recto of title page are two black-and-white photographs, one of the statue of Sacajawea, another of the man, Dr. Roberts, who allegedly buried Sacajawea in 1909. Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound hardcover, clean, if toned, minimal rubbing to extremities. Bound in red cloth over boards, red lettering to cover and spine. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, moderately worn but still colorful, protected by a plastic coat. 16 pages of black-and-white stills from the popular Hollywood film, Far Horizons, starring Fred McMurray, Charlton Heston and Donna Reed. 312 pp. plus full bibliography. Illustrated endpapers front and rear., Portland, OR, 1943.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
