Two fine-looking trade paperback copies, The Sabbath having been published in 1970 (94 pp. including index), while Between the Generations was published in 1971 (80 pp. including index and notes. Each is bound handsomely in printed stiff paper wraps. Samuel Hayim Dresner (1923â2000) was a U.S. Conservative rabbi, activist, scholar, and author, born in Chicago, educated at the University of Cincinnati then the Hebrew Union College. Ordained in 1951, and was a much beloved, influential writer on Jewish themes.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
