Thomas. 1869; Luther Tucker & Son; Albany, NY. Volume V. Profusely illustrated with 400 engravings. Nicely illustrated title page. From the Preface: "The design is to include as much practical information as can be condensed within their compass, on various topics of Agricultural, Horticultural and Domestic interest; and from copiousness of illustration, to render them the most beautiful and attractive, as well as among the most comprehensive and useful books on the subjects to which they are devoted."

Condition:
Clean back cover; the cloth on the spine has somewhat sun-faded; there is a very light, thin stain at the bottom-right quadrant of the front cover. Cloth tear at the top edge of the spine; the bottom edge of the spine is worn. Cloth tears at the cover corners. Tight binding with no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Occasional light stains/smudges/foxing to the pages. Name/address stamped in ink on front pastedown. Name/address written in old handwriting on front end paper. Overall the book is in Good condition.
