EARLY Edition Good + volume, with top edge gilt and gilt titles (spine titles dulled and its cloth sunned).Blue cloth with gently frayed crown and foot. Minor foxing at gutters, with a slightly over-extended gutter at page 149 - but still a very tight text block. Original red silk ribbon marker in place. At rear is an "Index To First Lines"/ exposed webbing at last page. A poem written in 1919 to honor the death of President Theodore Roosevelt, "Great Heart", included at rear. A fabulous addition to any classics shelf. 787 pages.
