The text is decorated with six illustrations by Charles Stewart, which had been rendered into a Persian style. Dark peach and white oriental "style" design on the front and rear panel and white coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. Rubbing of the book corners and back strip corners. A little age toning of the text block edges. Previous owners rubber stamp to the free front end page. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges with a little creasing to the top edge. Fading of the back strip and to the left hand edge of the front panel, and, right hand edge of the rear panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Not paginated (32 pages),.
