Limited Edition Souvenir book to mark the inaugural voyages of Royal Princess , inscribed in ink to title page "My sincere thanks and all good wishes and signed John Young, Captain" with compliments slip from P&O loosely laid in. Near Fine/ Near Fine in Near Fine Slip Case. (Book- insc as above, no previous owner name, dust jacket - very slight rubbing to extremities but largely protected by a glascine wrap, slip case negligible sign of shelf wear. No notable defects).The ship which was the most expensive passenger ship built at that time was christened at Southampton by Diana Princess of Wales in November1984 and sailed for Miami on it's inaugural voyage.
