Hardcover, 2nd edition, revised, with corrections and new foreword by editor 1974, Royal Oak Historical Society, 243 pages. Very Good+, No Dust Jacket-as issued. Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to Red cloth boards with gilt titles - corners sharp. Map end-papers with bookstore stamp (Klebba's Stationers) on inside back cover- does not interfere with the map. According to the foreword, Klebas was involved with the production, printing and possibly the distribution of this book. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked. A compilation of historical events, notable people and stories of interest related to Royal Oak, Michigan - beginning with the 1820s. Emphasis on the stories of the pioneers. Lots of local names which may be of interest to genealogy buffs. Many captioned b/w photos. LOC SSS-05
