Boston: Estes and Lauriat, 1896. Limited edition, #77 of 1000 copies of the Large Paper edition. Single volume that is part of a larger set of Thackeray's works. Olive linen-like cloth with paper spine label, top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed, illustrated with good quality black and white tissue-protected plates. Some darkening to the spine label, very tiny chip to one label corner, light rubbing to the corners and spine ends, small scuffed areas along the lower spine and front joint, good hinges, tight text block, attractive engraved bookplate of Charles Backman MacMurray on the front pastedown, pages very clean and unmarked.. Limited Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
