New York: The Heritage Press, 1942. Hardcover. Good/Fair. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Fritz Kredel. 4to, assistance by Mr. M. A. Titmarsh, bound in white cloth, decorative design on front cover, still has glasine dust jacket on boards but not on spine. Slipcase heavily worn, missing some of the outer board on the spine of case, edge tears otherwise a good copy.

Synopsis

The Rose and the Ring is one of those special literary treats which happen when a writer for adults turns his attention to the world of children. It's a classic fairy tale, told with Thackeray's customary insight into characters, an excellent story for reading aloud to children.
