East Aurora: Roycrofters. Very Good-. 1917. Hardcover. Another nicely produced work from Hubbard's Roycroft workshop in which he espouses his philosophy of business and life in 26 essays. The top edge is gilt and the fore edge and bottom are uncut. The pages are beautifully printed and embellished with illuminated letters at the beginning of each chapter and special ornaments by Roycroft artists. It has a suede spine and suede corner tips over a green paper-covered covers. There is also a green leather spine label; the spine is sunned, however the label is bright. Also includes a green silk sewn-in bookmark. Wear to top of green suede spine, else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no owner names and no bookmarks. ; Forntis Portrait; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 140 pages .
