Clean, tight, bright. 134 pp. Translated from Italian by John Shepley. Five stories contained in this volume are extracted from Alì Dagli Occhi Azzurri. "It is no exaggeration to say that his characters emerge from the prose like Michelangelo's Slaves from the partially carved stone," (rear flap).
