SIGNED presentation copy from the author to front endpaper "With the hope that in happier times some Corpus men may, occasionally (after ? lecture).... or even catch the great trout at ? Hythe Maurice Headlam February 1943". Green cloth, gilt with what appears to be a library number label to tail of spine amd Collegium Corporis Christi bookplate to front pastedown with no other library markings. Illustrated. Spine is a little faded and board extremities a little worn. Contents are clean and sound.
