Playwright Austin Strong's copy, with his small bookplate on rear pastedown. Inscribed by his wife Mary Strong on the front free endpaper: "To Austin from his Mary, 1934". Covers lightly rubbed, faint staining on rear cover, endpapers are lightly foxed, a very good or better copy. Celebrated as "one of the great Nantucket personalities of the twentieth century," Austin Strong, step-grandson of Robert Louis Stevenson, was a stage designer, theatrical producer, playwright, and landscape architect. A nice copy.
