Robin Hood has become one of the world's most well-known legendary heroes from English folklore. Robin and his Merry Men were known to common thieves who sought to better the poor and take care of the sick. The name Robin Hood has become synonymous with outlaws who do not reveal their identity.
This 1840 edition was published in London by Hextall and Foster and features 55 fine engravings.
