Contains black and white illustrations throughout by Duncan Moul. Pages are rough cut. Book has a fairly strong odour,. Pages are notably thumb-marked, with moderate tanning and foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with heavy tanning strips to pages 6 & 7. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are subtly bowed. Mottled mould to front and rear boards.

Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Sunning to spine.
