Macmillan Company, 1896. Hardcover. Acceptable. Hardcover. Beautiful book. Dark green cloth boards, with beautiful gilt title and design on front. Delightful art nouveau design on spine, with light fading to gilt. Small tear at the bottom of front board, about the size of a pencil eraser. Dented and worn corner tips. Shelf-wearing to edges of boards and spine. Gilt text block edges with a light dinger or two. Cloth on rear board is rippled and scuffed. Split hinge at front. Foxing throughout. Tissue guard and black and white plates are foxed. Splitting in gutters in several spots, but the pages are not loose. Book is readable. Photos gladly furnished upon request. 365 pages.
