About This Item
A collection of one of the very first and most famous punk 'zines, beginning with the very first issue, billed as "The first Scottish Punk mag., written by fans.. for fans." All manner of musicians from both sides of the Atlantic were profiled, as punk didn't really have a defined sound when the publication began. With the rise of The Sex Pistols, The Damned, and other UK groups the modern punk sound was codified. By the time of the final issue (#18) post-punk and a more distilled Crass-sound were in full swing; editing duties fell to Steve Abrams.
