About This Item

8vo, olive cloth with gilt lettering, illustrated, 190, [1] pp. Back hinge a little weak, but still firm, some soiling and staining to covers, slight edge wear, endpapers normal aging, other contents bright and clean; overall very good. James Whitcomb Riley (1849-1916) was a best selling author, poet and children's book writer. Probably best known for "little Orphan Annie." The current work is a collection of poems, with illustrations by William B. Dyer.
