First edition, 4to, brown pebbled cloth, gilt-stamped titles and pictorial pastedown front cover, 399 pages, copiously illustrated. Printed at the Brooklyn Eagle Press, Pages 1- 16 are advertisements for all manner of product and services to horse riders and drivers, the rest an annual compilation of all aspects that relate to the sport. Laid-in is a collection of contemporary news clippings, mostly from NYC dailies, about horses. RIDING CARRIAGES.
