Reprinted from the 10th Edition. 154 pp. Very Good in contempoary half calf over marbled boards, the back with red morocco title label letterd in gilt, gilt floral decorations in four compartments, the fifth with gilt tooled griffin, edges a bit worn, light to moderate toning throughout, 1/4" tear at top edge front gutter. A play best remembered for the line "The pen is mightier than the sword", spoken by Cardinal Richelieu in Act II. A rather SCARCE play in any early edition, this copy presents quite well. . Later Edition. Half Calf Over Marbled Boards. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
