Original dark blue linson boards lettered gilt to spine, preserved in pictorial dustwrapper; illustrated throughout with drawings in monochrome by Blake; a near fine copy in a similarly bright and clean, unclipped, dustwrapper (£7.95); internally fresh with no previous owners marks. There is a light and short vertical crease to top edge of 4 or 5 leaves towards the end of the book. This near fine copy is signed by Roald Dahl in characteristic bold green felt pen to the front free endpaper and so very rare with these attributes. . Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 2nd Printing. 1989.
