About This Item

Philadelphia: Office of the Leighton Publications, 1873. First edition. Wraps. Very Good. 5 7/8 x 9 1/8 inches. 56 pages. Pages bright and clean and free from marking, soiling or staining, with exception of last page which is soiled. Bound in original grayish wrap which is lightly soiled and with a few unobtrusive marks. Corners chipped with marginal losses not affecting text. Rear cover lacking. A very good copy of this scarce pamphlet which contains a discussion of Sheppard v. Bennett, an English case regarding Anglican doctrines relating to the sacraments in light of recent American cases, from a decidedly "evangelical" American perspective.
