With frontispiece and fifteen illustrated plates by Sidney Paget and a four page publisher's advertisements at back. A fine copy. Completely free of any signs of previous ownership. No toning or foxing to contents or edges. Original publisher's blue cloth covers are bright, unblemished and have no bumping to corners or splitting to head / tail of spine. Loosely inserted is also a brief synopsis of 'Sherlock Holmes' a four act play. An excellent example. Scarce in this condition.
