Hardcover without dust jacket, ix + 93 pages including black-and-white illustrations and Examples throughout; reddish brown cloth covers have traces of old staining, light to moderate shelf wear to cover edges, front cover gilt lettering and decoration bright and clear (spine lettering faded to obscurity), rubber stamped Canadian price ($1.50) on free front endpaper, numerous corner creases, pale faded waterstaining around spine top inside and adjacent page margins just visible throughout, scattered pencil markings and/or underlinings on approximately 10 pages, otherwise very clean and unmarked (no foxing).
