Moderate tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and visible tanning to text block edges. Front hinge is cracked with exposed netting and cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Binding is loose. Boards have visible edge wear and rubbing with noticeable bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and fair rubbing to spine.
Synopsis
Civil war rages between the native tribes of the Malay straits. Captain Tim Wingard sides with the Rajah Hassim. But as is the case with so much in the Far East, nothing is quite straightforward and events unfold by indirection.
