About This Item

Philadelphia, PA: John Grigg, 1828. Fourth American (from the Fifth London). Hardcover. Good (text block Very Good+/Near Fine). No DJ, as Issued. Fourth American (from the Fifth London). Hardcover. Overall, a very presentable set of this well known work...lovely text blocks for rebinding. Both volumes show moderate shelf/edge wear, corners through, several small dings and pulls, light toning/soiling to boards, Vol. 1 split at the hinge and repaired (not professionally, but passable), several ownership marks, moderate chip at ffeps where a signature was removed, light toning at text block edges, else tight, bright and unmarred.
