About This Item

New York: One Purse, 1974. Pamphlet. 16p., staplebound pamphlet, 7x8.5 inches, very good. The publishing organization was called One Purse because it pooled its resources together "in search of love and adventure." They participated in the occupation of a building at 111th and 112th Streets and Amsterdam Avenue in Harlem beginning in 1972; these are documents from that period. The following pieces are presented in both English and Spanish: "Our Practice at the Occupation," "Appeal to the Community," "The Opportunity and Who Destroyed It," "The Truth is Still the Truth Even if its a Minority Opinion," "Letter to the Plumbing and Electricity Class," "The Minimum Definition of Revolutionary Organizations.
