A fair copy, the covers are waterstained, the pages are waterstained in the right-hand margins and sometimes in the bottom margins, and the spine is faded. This is a presentation copy, from the N.Y. Sanitary Association, New York, January, 1861--this information is on a slip which is tipped-in at the title page. The book is, despite its defects, a serviceable copy, the binding is tight and the pages are readable.. Signed by Author(s). Hardcover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
