Fair. 8vo, publisher's olive green cloth gilt, fair copy, light wear to binding, ex-library with faint white numbers on spine, bookplate, marks and stamps to title page, dampstain tide-mark to top margin throughout, light strengthening of front inner hinge; a good reading copy. 243 pp. With "Tarr" in pencil on flyleaf -- he is a well known professor and historian of urban studies at Carnegie Mellon University.
