A scarce item from the dawn of the Baby Boom era. Published years before the sexual revolution, the advent of "the pill," legalized abortion, and other societal changes. While not exactly a taboo subject in the 1940s, the front cover carries this notice: "This report is issued by the Medical Advisory Committee of Consumers Union for the use solely of physicians and social workers and of others who are married and have been advised by their physicians to use contraceptives."
