About This Item

Farrar Straus and Giroux, 1973. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 204 pages. Collects eight short stories that first ran in magazines including Esquire, The Atlantic, and The New Yorker; by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author. First edition ('first printing'). Edges a bit worn and light scuffing to spine lettering, thus a very good copy. Dust jacket lightly toned and a bit wavy with short, faint tide marks on the spine ends. Inscribed by the author to the previous owner on the front free endpaper.
